The study will last 3 months. We will ask all guys to come back for 3 study visits, one visit every 6 weeks.
The first and third visits will include HIV and/or STD testing, urinalysis, and a computerized questionnaire about sexual behavior and drug use. These visits will take about 1 hour.
The second visit will only include urinalysis and the questionnaire. This visit should take about 30 minutes.
For these 3 visits, you will be paid for each visit whether or not your urine has meth in it.
All men will come back more frequently (2 times per week) for the 12 weeks of the study for urinalyses. These visits are in addition to the 3 study visits and will take 5-10 minutes. Guys will be rewarded if the urines provided during these short visits are clean for crystal.
